Why: The Townsend Harris Alumni Association would like to celebrate the arts industry in our community. There will be a networking opportunity at this event and a Q & A session with the Elena, the director.
Admission will be $20 per ticket in advance or $30 at the door. Admission includes the private screening and light hor d’ouevres. A cash bar will be available. Elana A. Mugdan was born and raised in Little Neck, New York. She is a product of the New York City public school system, having attended PS-94, MS-67, and Townsend Harris High School. She graduated from the University of Maine with highest honors in just three years and returned to her hometown to incorporate herself and to create her first feature film, "Director's Cut". Since the completion of the feature, Mugdan has gone on to direct and produce many other short and feature films. She has enjoyed much success with "Director's Cut", which has been accepted into fifteen film festivals worldwide, and has received awards from four of them.
