Cassandra Hanley ’89
Cassandra also worked for a homeland-security consulting firm supporting companies with unique applications to develop partnerships with large-scale integrators and different levels of government. Prior to that assignment, she worked at the US Small Business Administration’s Office of Entrepreneurial Development and the US Economic Development Administration. Her other professional experience includes work in the White House Office of Women’s Initiatives and Outreach, as a legislative assistant for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Democrat of New York, and as a community liaison for Representative Floyd H. Flake.

Cassandra received her master’s in business administration from Harvard Business School, a masters in public policy from Duke University and her bachelor of arts degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Cassandra, her husband, Marc Sumerlin, and their young twins are residents of Arlington, Virginia.
