Milton Lisansky, Class of 1934
Dr. Milton Lisansky, (DDS, NYU ‘43, MPH, Yale ‘52), formerly of Hamden and Milford, CT, was born 4.7.1918 and died quietly at home with his family on 6.13.2014. He touched many lives; nurturing everything from dreams to plants to dental interns. His legacy includes creating the first sliding scale dental clinical in the country (Morton J Loeb), treating POWs in his MASH unit on Okinawa with respect and dignity, serving as Chief of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital, providing excellent care to his patients during his 35 years in general practice dentistry in New Haven and raising four accomplished children. He is survived by his wife, Sybil, his sister, Pearl, his sons, Stephen (Sophie) and Eugene (Daisy), his daughters, Judith (Larry) and Susan Pinco. He was well loved and will be sorely missed. The family welcomes memories and photos at www.MiltonLisansky.com.
